PISTA NG PELIKULANG PILIPINO

Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) is the Film Development Council of the Philippines’ (FDCP) flagship film festival that features week-long exclusive screenings of Filipino films in all theaters nationwide with no foreign films during its run. Since 2017, PPP has successfully showcased a total of thirty-three (33) films, garnered more than 2.5 Million audiences, and grossed over P 420 Million in total box office. Now in its fourth year and as we face a global pandemic, we believe in the importance of coming together to support and keep alive the film industry through the continued appreciation and love of cinema.

From October 31 to December 13, 2020, we will be holding PPP4 through an online streaming platform managed by FDCP called the FDCP Channel with the theme “Sama All”. In the spirit of unity and supporting one Philippine Cinema, PPP4 will showcase over 170 Filipino films (90 full length films, 80 short films) - a curation of the most memorable titles (classics and contemporary) from local to regional film festivals, filmmakers, and producers, award-winning and trailblazer titles, and premium titles which have not been shown or had a limited release in the Philippines.
