Post-Production Supervisor

UNIT / PROGRAM: Content Production    STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The position requires supervision of the editing team’s effective and on-time delivery of videos requested to the Content Production Unit of the External Communication Division.

The Post Production Supervisor shall assist FDCP and the Excomm – Content Production Unit in producing videos within the required timeline based on the workflow process. The objective is to streamline the work process while realistically meeting the deadlines requested by other divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor edits to reach the required deadlines
  • Supervise the collation of technical requirements such as materials, music, motion graphics
  • Handle the troubleshooting of any issues that may arise during the editing process
  • Manage the working calendar for editors to achieve ontime deliverables
  • Represent the Division in coordination with other divisions regarding technical information on the videos
  • Ensure the that the creative involvement in videos are preserved and maintained until final approval
  • Suggest effective ways to lessen the editing time of the videos without sacrificing its creative content
  • Furnish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the editors to monitor their process
  • Set goals for the team to effectively deliver performance expectations laid down by the management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication, Multimedia Arts or Film
  • 3-5 hands-on and technical experience in post production operations
  • Knowledge in the editing process and its technicalities
  • Knowledge in editing softwares (Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Creative vision and knows how to go around editing technicalities
  • Wide array of knowledge when it comes to movies and viral videos
  • Must be flexible in work arrangements
  • Must have a sturdy knowledge on local and international films (commercial, independent, regional, art films)
  • Must love films in general
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with leads and staff to achieve organizational goals; ability to solicit inputs by genuinely valuing others' ideas and expertise; capacity to work with transparency; capacity to build trust in colleagues
