UNIT / PROGRAM: Procurement     STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)


The position requires the delivery of outputs in line with the procurement services of the Agency.


  • Assist the Procurement Unit Manager in the daily activities of the Unit;
  • Assist in the monitoring and enforcement of the Agency’s procurement policies and procedures;
  • Review and check items to be procured as well as its market value;
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and coordinate with the same to ensure on-time delivery;
  • Prepare and process documents (e.g. Abstract of Quotation, Purchase Request, Purchase Order, etc.) and consequently send the signed Purchase Order or Job Order for signature of the supplier;
  • Create Inspection and Acceptance Report upon delivery or services;
  • Inspect the delivery of items/service procured to ensure quality and quantity of the items;
  • Keep departments/units informed of the status and delivery date of their requests;
  • Maintain the filing of Purchase Order and Job Order for COA copy, File copy, and BAC copy; 
  • Receive all correspondences and maintain a Procurement Database; and
  • Perform such other duties and functions as may be assigned by the Unit Manager and Management.


  • Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder
  • Must have at least 1 year professional and relevant experience in a similar function
  • Must be skilled in evaluating suppliers, products, and services
  • Must have good planning and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
