4 Films Represent Philippine Cinema at 25th Busan International Film Festival
MANILA, PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 24, 2020 — Philippine Cinema is sure to be represented at this year’s Busan International Film Festival (BIFF). With the festival’s 25th edition having kicked off this week, movie buffs from Korea now have the chance to watch several new films across different categories and genres including BIFF’s “A Window on Asian Cinema” and “Wide Angle” sections, both of which will be screening a select number of Filipino films.
PPP4 Spotlight: Ang Lakaran ni Kabunyan: Kabunyan’s Journey to Liwanag
In this edition of PPP4 Spotlight, we will be spotlighting the opening film of the upcoming Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino: a documentary by acclaimed filmmaker and National Artist for Film Kidlat Tahimik entitled “Ang Lakaran ni Kabunyan: Kabunyan’s Journey to Liwanag.” The film will make its Philippine online premiere at the festival on October 31 and will screen under the PPP4 Premium Selection section.
