PROJECT DEVELOPMENT OFFICER II
UNIT / PROGRAM: FilmPhilippines Office STATUS: Plantilla (SG15)
PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the overall implementation of the FilmPhilippines Incentives (FPI) program
- Plan and facilitate end-to-end execution of the application cycles
- Handle the planning, forecast, monitoring, and reporting of budget for incentives • Evaluate and create recommendations to continuously improve the application process • Periodically assess and implement improvements in the FPI guidelines to continuously make it an attractive and competitive funding program
- Review deal terms and facilitate signing of agreements
- Track project status and oversee the release of funds for approved applications
- Regularly monitor project milestones to evaluate progress, compliance, and other areas related to the disbursement of funds
- Oversee and ensure compliance of grantees with regard to their return of responsibilities to the FDCP • Release clearances based on completed applications
- Maintain files and records of all FPI-related matters and documents
- Handle internal coordination in developing and planning for marketing and communication strategy for the promotion of the program
- Handle external coordination in promoting the program in order to attract foreign projects • Keep abreast of international best practices on film funding
- Perform other related tasks needed by the unit
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Communications, or any program relevant to the job
- At least one (1) year of work
- 4 hours of relevant training
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in planning, execution, and end-to-end monitoring of programs
- Experienced in accounts and/or project management
- Skilled at preparing and conducting presentations
- Has strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates good attention to details
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter and proactive
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Willing to travel to different locations if needed
- Creativity and exposure / sufficient knowledge on film production is an advantage
